The workshops are designed to equip you with practical strategies and resources to bring imagination to the heart of your practice. You will learn about cognitive tools that will engage your students in learning and grow their imaginations. You will connect with a network of imaginative educators who teach in ways that support creativity and innovation.

Requirements

  • We are looking for imaginative educators—educators who want to grow their own and their students’ imaginations.
  • We are looking for educators who are champions for imagination—educators who will share their learning with others in their schools/professional communities.
  • We are asking each participant to commit to attending all 4 sessions.

  • November 20, 2019: Engaging Emotion & Imagination in Learning with Cognitive Tools
  • January 29, 2020: Imagination & Inquiry: The Learning in Depth Project/ The Walking Curriculum (Provided: a LiD Kit / Walking Curriculum book)
  • April 15, 2020: Entrepreneurship in K-12. Focus: PowerPlay & YELL (Youth Entrepreneurship Leadership Launchpad)
  • May 27, 2020: Imagination Champion Network Celebration
